I have to be honest, I was a little unsure what small blessing I was going to share with you today. As the day wore on, I found myself wondering, what is there that I haven't already shared? I mean, I already posted on the rain (and my efforts to be thankful for it), and that's pretty much all that's going on around here these days. Then, just before I left work, I ran out to the mailbox one last time, and saw this:


Isn't he cute? (Or I like to say, "ca-uet!" Don't ask.) He definitely made me smile, and caused me to thank the Lord that He always gives me something to be thankful for. I mean, how blessed am I to not have to carry my house on my back everywhere I go?? Pretty blessed, I'd say!

Last month I spoke at a Christian Writer's Conference and met beautiful authors such as Susan Page Davis. I recently read her book, Frasier Island , and I am so excited to tell you about it! It is easy to tell when you've got your hands on a good book, and friends, this is a good book . It is full of mystery and intrigue, unexpected twists and plots, and just enough romance woven through to make it not over-the-top-lovey-dovey. Romance novels aren't really my thing, but a well written, informative, interesting mystery is! Quick Tip Tuesday: Facebook. Just Stop.

I have to say, I never, ever thought I'd be writing this post. But here we go. The goal of these quick tips is to simplify. Because really, isn't that the goal of every organizing project? We find a system that isn't working - something that aggravates our daily routine, and frankly, aggravates us! And we tear it apart and make an even bigger mess than before so we can find a better system that simplifies life. These quick projects do the same thing, with the added benefit of being, well, quick! These are quick fixes that take little or no time but have a big impact. Today's quick tip? Just stop with all the Facebook. Now hear me out. I am not getting rid of Facebook.
