Goals for the Week...and a sale!!!

Happy Monday! How are you all doing after the crazy weekend? Maybe I am the only one that thinks Daylight Savings time makes for a ca-razy day, but I just felt "off" the entire day yesterday. Not sure why! Anyone else feel like that?

I am LOVING that it stays lighter longer in a day, however. Makes me all fired up for Spring to get here! =)

Here are the goals I set last week:

Write 3 letters

Finish “The Spiritual Secret of Hudson Taylor”

Start one other book - either “The Secret Symbols of the Dollar Bill” or “Grace For the Good Girl”...or both! :)

Memorize 3 verses

Continue reading “Salvation ”

Work on 1 shop item

Write 1 post for another site

Begin working on potholders for a friend

Last week, I happened to notice on Facebook that unbeknown to me, my page had hit 100 likes. Hold the phone!! When did the three digits happen? I seriously hadn't even been paying attention!

Then at the end of the week, I noticed another three digit number on my blogger dashboard:


Say what? 600 posts! Wowzers! Again, I had no idea that the number was that high!! (Can you tell that I don't really pay close attention to my stats??)

It is really something to know there are 600 posts here - posts that bear my heart, share things meant to encourage, and hopefully make you smile along the way. I absolutely love blogging, and pray that my posts are an encouragement and help to someone, somewhere along the way. Hitting the 600 mark, well that just thrills me. I pray that at least one of those 600 posts has been a help to you in some way!!

It is time for an update on my weekly goals! In case you missed last week , I decided to get back into the habit of setting intentional, weekly goals in order to accomplish more during the precious hours I have around my work schedule. I am happy to report that this first week went very well! I wasn't sure exactly how it would turn out. It has been a couple years since I really was purposeful about my goals, so to be honest I was slightly skeptical. Was I already doing enough? Did I have more time in a day to get things done? But it did help, so much! With goals for what I want to accomplish in a week, it was so easy to pull together my daily to-do list from those goals. And there was no question as to what I should do if I did have a little down time. I had a goal to work towards even in the small moments. Some Friday Love: Recipe Binder Printable!

To celebrate this beautiful Friday evening (aren't Friday's just the best of days?) I have a FREE printable for you! I have to admit that I don't have a recipe binder, but a reader asked if I could make a printable to match the others for a recipe binder. If there is one thing I love, it is making printables that meet the needs of my readers! This blog would be pretty boring without you, so passing on some love in the way of printables is the least I can do! Anyway, back to the printable. How did I get on the sappy train? I really was not sure what all is included on a recipe binder page, but here is what I came up with: Then I thought that maybe there are some people out there that prefer to write teeny tiny and save space, and would like two recipes to a sheet. Last month I spoke at a Christian Writer's Conference and met beautiful authors such as Susan Page Davis. I recently read her book, Frasier Island , and I am so excited to tell you about it! It is easy to tell when you've got your hands on a good book, and friends, this is a good book . It is full of mystery and intrigue, unexpected twists and plots, and just enough romance woven through to make it not over-the-top-lovey-dovey.
