Happy Friday, everyone! Welcome to another week of our blogging party!


This has been a big week, because we saw our first SNOWFLAKES!! Now, if you've been reading this blog any length of time, you know snow is NOT my favourite thing. But we have a little family rule that says the first snowfall brings out the Christmas music! So, even though I wouldn't exactly call what we had a snow "fall", more like a few flakes floating through the air and then melting, that is good enough for me. Christmas music is in full swing now!

But enough of that...lets get on with the party!

I have to admit that I don't have a recipe binder, but a reader asked if I could make a printable to match the others for a recipe binder. "Frasier Island" Book Review and Giveaway!

Last month I spoke at a Christian Writer's Conference and met beautiful authors such as Susan Page Davis. I recently read her book, Frasier Island , and I am so excited to tell you about it! It is easy to tell when you've got your hands on a good book, and friends, this is a good book . It is full of mystery and intrigue, unexpected twists and plots, and just enough romance woven through to make it not over-the-top-lovey-dovey. Romance novels aren't really my thing, but a well written, informative, interesting mystery is! The story line takes Ensign Rachel Whitney to a new post on a remote scrap of rock in the Pacific called Frasier Island. Living there in isolation with two other soldiers, both Rachel and Lt. Quick Tip Tuesday: Facebook. Just Stop.

I have to say, I never, ever thought I'd be writing this post. But here we go. The goal of these quick tips is to simplify. Because really, isn't that the goal of every organizing project? We find a system that isn't working - something that aggravates our daily routine, and frankly, aggravates us! And we tear it apart and make an even bigger mess than before so we can find a better system that simplifies life. These quick projects do the same thing, with the added benefit of being, well, quick! These are quick fixes that take little or no time but have a big impact. Today's quick tip? Just stop with all the Facebook. Now hear me out. I am not getting rid of Facebook.
