Hello and happy Friday! I'm glad to be back to another week of the Weekend Wind-Down party!


You may have noticed I missed the party last week...but I had a VERY good reason! I spent the weekend with a whole bunch of my cousins and aunts, and Samantha from Motivated Days was there too! We got to actually chat about blogging and life stuff in real life...imagine that!




It was a fun weekend of Christmas-movie watching, coffee drinking, shopping and laughing. Much needed before a busy holiday season hits us!

But now, lets get on with this week's party, shall we?

"Frasier Island" Book Review and Giveaway!

Last month I spoke at a Christian Writer's Conference and met beautiful authors such as Susan Page Davis. I recently read her book, Frasier Island , and I am so excited to tell you about it! It is easy to tell when you've got your hands on a good book, and friends, this is a good book . It is full of mystery and intrigue, unexpected twists and plots, and just enough romance woven through to make it not over-the-top-lovey-dovey. Romance novels aren't really my thing, but a well written, informative, interesting mystery is! I have to say, I never, ever thought I'd be writing this post. But here we go. The goal of these quick tips is to simplify. Because really, isn't that the goal of every organizing project? We find a system that isn't working - something that aggravates our daily routine, and frankly, aggravates us! And we tear it apart and make an even bigger mess than before so we can find a better system that simplifies life. These quick projects do the same thing, with the added benefit of being, well, quick! These are quick fixes that take little or no time but have a big impact. Today's quick tip? Just stop with all the Facebook. Now hear me out. I am not getting rid of Facebook.
