Goals for the Week of November 16, 2015
Happy Monday, friends! It is time to share my report on my goals from last week and share the new ones for this week. I hope you are setting goals this week, too! If you are, I'd love for you to share them! We've had some great discussion and encouragement about goal-setting each week in the comments section, I'd love for you to join in!
I didn't get a few things done this week that I was really aiming for, but that is ok, because some other fun stuff happened instead! That is the freedom of setting goals, not everything has to get done. If life gets busy or more important things come up, why then the goals can be tweaked or abandoned altogether!
For instance, last night we had an impromptu victory celebration after that STRESSFUL win by the Patriots. Was anyone else freaking out during that? So glad they managed to squeak it out in the end!
Also I celebrated with my piano students this week because they each met an important goal in the last couple months. I'm so thankful for these girls!
Now on to the update!
My goals for last week were:
Personal:
Spend time in God's Word every day
Memorize Isaiah 40:28
Practice piano 3 times
Practical:
Finish swapping all summer/winter clothes
Finish The Cows are Out and start Money Making Mom
Get up by 7:30 every morning
Business:
List 2 new items in the So Sew Organized shop
Finish 1 custom order and start 2nd
My Goals for this week:

The last time I had my goal listed down was in January of this year and I just look back from time to and see if I am making any progress. By God's grace, I'm doing good.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on reaching your goals last week! God bless you as you endeavor to know God deeper. First things first. :) Amen!
I'm glad you have a system that works for you! Good luck as you finish out the year! =)
DeletePractice 3x a day? Wow! That is amazing!!! What dedication :) You must really love it!
ReplyDeleteHa! These are actually my goals for the entire week...so I am going to *attempt* to get 3 practices in throughout the whole week. Not per day. That would be way overly ambitious. ;) Altho I am sure I would really improve that way!
DeleteMy goal for this week is to keep up with my healthy eating plan. :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you! =)
DeleteLove the money making mom book. I was on the launch team for it !

Lucky you! I can wait to read it all!
DeleteMy goal for this week is finish switching out the summer and winter clothes. I've been doing that for about 3 weeks. I do a little at time because I really don't feel like doing it. That way, I will get it done no matter how much I don't want to do it.
ReplyDeleteI need to do that too! It is starting to really get colder here in Maine, I am going to need the really heavy stuff soon! Good luck!
DeleteI can't wait to hear your thoughts on Money Making Mom. Good luck on your goals this week.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited to read it! Have you read it yet?
DeleteI would like to hear your thoughts on Money Making Mom too! My goal is this week is to start making goals! Seriously...I have kind of gotten away from goal-setting for fear of being too uptight about not accomplishing them all. I am going to get back at it, but try to exercise a little grace too.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, we all need grace in this and many other areas! I would encourage you to start small...just write down two or three specific things to work towards this week. I'll be cheering you on, and I'd love to hear how you do! :)
DeleteOne of my goals is to finish swapping out my summer and winter clothes too! It's now on my to-do list for the day! <3
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I guess it is that time of year, isn't it? =)
DeleteI READ ONE OF YOUR EALIER COMMENTS, ONE OF THE LADIES SAID THEY WERE GOING TO KEEP UP WTH THEIR HEALTHY EATING! ME TOO! AND, I AM RELYING REALLY HARD ON THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH ME TO REST IN HIM AND NOT BE IN A HURRY SO MUCH.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting, Lisa! We do need space to breathe and rest, and I know the Lord can help you accomplish that!
DeleteGreat goals! I plan to work on my book, drink a smoothie a day, and stop worrying so much!
ReplyDeleteGreat plan! Good luck to you!
